About you
I believe your home should reflect you. It should be an extension of your personality, your loves and your warmth. It should look natural and effortless, a place of joy and comfort. A place you look forward to returning to.
I also believe that interior design should be accessible and affordable. It can start simply, on a modest budget, one room at a time.
And I believe that we have a responsibility to build mindfully, shop sustainably, and wherever possible support people locally. After all, your home is not just where you live, but the community you live in.
About me
My early working life was spent in Cambridge, Edinburgh & London working in publishing and venue management. More recently, I trained in interior design with KLC School of Design at Chelsea Harbour, with a specific focus on the residential sector. I hold a professional membership with The Interior Designers hub.
My style - modern country with global accents - creates relaxed, easy to live-in interiors that are not overly 'done'. My colour preferences range from calm, gentle neutrals - soft stone, limewash, plaster & pink tones - to the use of stronger colours - darker greens, blues, greys & browns for added drama.
I adore the use of printed fabrics from botanical & bird prints to globally inspired Ikat & Indian block print. Natural fabrics and finishes: linen, wool, leather, wood, stone and soft metallics all have a place in my schemes.
Above all, my style creates interiors to live in, share with your family & friends and fill with laughter & joy.
